How ARACHNOWEBS handles your personal data. Last updated 6 October 2026.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data under the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) is Roman Zapletalík, operating ARACHNOWEBS, IČO 61553913, náměstí 1. máje 45, 463 31 Chrastava. For anything related to your data, contact us at arachnowebshelp@gmail.com.
What data we process and why
| Situation | Data | Purpose and legal basis | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|---|
| You send an order through the order form, or email us | Your email address (required), your name and what you write about your business (both optional), and the services you picked | Answering you, preparing an offer and delivering the service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps before and performance of a contract) | Up to 12 months after our last contact if no order follows; otherwise for the duration of the work and any complaint period |
| You tick the boxes in the order panel | Whether you confirmed reading our policies and whether you asked us to start work right away | Keeping a record of what you agreed to, which matters for the right of withdrawal (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR) | As long as the order record above |
| You visit the website | Technical data such as IP address and browser type in the hosting provider’s server logs | Security and reliable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest) | As set by the hosting provider, usually a few weeks |
We only ask for what we need to understand and deliver your website. The order form requires just your email address so we can reply; everything else is optional. There are no accounts, and no phone number, date of birth or payment details are collected through the site. The website itself stores nothing about you: when you press “Send order”, your order goes straight to our inbox.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers we need to run the business, and only as much as they need: our email provider, our website hosting provider, and the form service that delivers orders from the website to our inbox. They act as our processors and may not use your data for their own purposes. If any of these providers stores data outside the EU, the transfer is protected by the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and local storage
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or social media plugins. Fonts and images are served from our own website, so your browser does not contact third parties such as Google when you visit.
When you switch between light and dark mode, your browser saves that choice in its local storage under the name arachnowebs-theme-mode. It contains only the word “light” or “dark”, stays on your device, and is never sent to us. Because it only remembers a setting you chose yourself, it does not require consent. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.
When you add services to your order, the list of selected services is saved the same way under the name arachnowebs-order, so it stays there when you move between pages. It contains no personal data and is only sent to us if you choose to email us your order.
If your device is set to Czech or Slovak, the website opens in Czech automatically. That check happens only in your browser. If you choose a language yourself with the CZ | EN switch, your choice is saved the same way under the name arachnowebs-lang so we don’t override it.
The details you type into the order form, the discount code and the checkboxes are not saved in your browser. They are only sent when you press “Send order”.
If we ever add cookies that need your consent, such as analytics, we will ask for it first with a banner where refusing is as easy as accepting.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To use any of these rights, email us at arachnowebshelp@gmail.com. We will reply within one month.
You can also file a complaint with the Czech data protection authority: Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, uoou.gov.cz.
